Oh I so heart you!

I so heart Mr. JB!

Last Friday, we were in the Mission district. So, we went by Pan Lido to grab some pastries. In case you don't know what Pan Lido is, it is a Salvadorian pastry shop. I got into Pan Lido because Mr. JB introduced me to them. When Mr. JB was younger, he used to eat these pastries after school during their "tea time".

Anyhoo, so, when Mr. JB and I go to Pan Lido, we go "all out"! We get everything there, and we basically "stock up". Ha ha. I think we bought about 25 items during this trip. But of course, our "stock" didn't last long because ... well....we pigged out on them. =) We can't help it. And today, we only had 3 left. Initially, I was going to offer it to Mr. JB but I realized that he has assess to more breakfast places working downtown than I do when I go to school. So, I didn't offer it to him.

I just casually said: "oh, there's only 3 left; I'm going to take them, okay?". Mr. JB was shocked cuz I didn't offer him any. I said "but I really want them". He said, "okay okay". I took them and enjoyed them oh so slowly at school. Oh so good!

And when I came home, I still had to clean up the Pan Lido box. I was thinking to myself: "Oh, I want some more. I wonder if Mr. JB had time to go there." But I knew Mr. JB was busy at work and knew that he wouldn't have time to go pick the pastries up. Oh well. And because I was so so hungry, I ate my biscotti from Costco instead.

And then I hear the key turning in the front. I rushed to the door to greet Mr. JB. And guess what he had in his hands? My Pan Lido!!!! I was shocked. I gasped and said.."oooohhh wowww...!! Really? Whoo hoo! Thank you thank you!" I was shocked!! I may have squealed too. ha ha.

Isn't Mr. JB so sweet? I can't believe he took the time out of his busy schedule to go buy me my favorite pastries!! Sigh...yes, every so often, he surprises me and reminds me of the love he has for me!
Sigh...I'm still feeling so lucky and am still gitty. =)

(And in case you were wondering: I didn't eat the pastries he bought today because I already ate my biscotti and didn't want to over eat. hee hee.)
